I know it was a nightmare the amount of tackle i lost. I want to go again tonight but got to scrimp and scrape a few quid together to buy a few more leads not easy whilst im not working!! Never mind. I might go down Gray wharf tonight instead and give that a bash, not too sure wot its been fishing like down there though??? |

Have a Butchers a the pictures of venue post for Tilbury Fort. If you fish opposite the first Artillery gun of the fort there a fewer snags than the rest of the wall  |

I was fishing just to the right of the stairs, and the bloke next to me had that tiny bass. |

Yeah mate that was me that borrowed the tape. Did you have anything after i left? Did them other blokes further down have any luck? |

Had a few touches on my rod that i had baited with a whole squid. But nothing took it.
I was fishing worm on the other rod. Something took it when i cast out and was waiting for it to touch bottom. Line just started ripping off the spool, but before i could turn the handle, it had gone and i was left with a lovely "bird's nest" to untangle.
Didn't see anyone else pull anything else out. |

Yeah you had about as much as i did, think im going to go and have another go tonight, ive still got loads of bait left over to use, hopefully it'l chuck a few fish up tonight. |
