I lived in Southsea in 1987 when that hurricane went over and i wasent aware it had a name but its the one that made Micheal Fish imfamous lol so it could have been a fishy hurricane lol |

don`t think so,it was never put into the catagory,i googled it trying to find out yesterday,all that came back was ..the great storm!

According to Michael Fish, the woman in question was actually a colleague's mother who was about to go on holiday in the Caribbean, and had called regarding Hurricane Floyd to see if it would be safe to travel. |

Boothferry Park, that was ahard one had to look that up lol.
