any body got any suggestions how to keep king rag worm alive mine normally are dead in two or three days of purchase i would like to see if i could get them to last from one weekend to the next

Hi mate, i just wrap mine in newspaper in the fridge with a little moist compost, check everyday for dead worms and re-wrap with clean paper they have certainly kept more than 4 days but how much longer i can't say for sure.

If you have the space get you`r own bait (n`beer) fridge . You can often pick them up for a £5er cos there`s a spot of rust on them. Rag keep best if they can be spread out in a layer on newspaper in a plant or cat litter tray rather than in a lump in the corner of the "your not puttin them in there " fridge . They can last up to two weeks , not a-1 but useable.
