try the okuma mg-20cs i have one nice reel, good balance, a little heavy but ok and can handle the rough stuff easy i paid £50 for mine [try internet might get a good deal] it comes with mag brakes as standard

I bought the Okuma reel paid £55 for mine i'm new to multipliers but a few trips down the playing field i can clear the football pitch plus 60yrds very happy with it and have found it very easy to use hope this helps

dont blame you i wouldn't buy an essential item second hand
you dont want it to go wrong when that big one is on the end
