Have just seen a good tackle tip, buy a cheap set of cutlery from asda, tesco, wilkinson etc with shaped stainless steel handles . A bit of work with a hacksaw and a drill and you`ve got 16 pirks and some spoons for £5-£6 .
But carefully does it ,if you break too many saw blades or drill bits the cost goes up quite a bit. |

| 40yrs ago we used to use old spoons for flounder and plaice by cutting off the handel and driiling a hole at each end of the remaining part of the spoon and putting on a swivel at each end. keith |

I`ve been doing the same rab and also as attractors for cod and whiting , caught lots of pike on them as well but always threw the handles away . Mind you the handles were bone or plastic , not nice shiny sandeel lookalikes . |
