Don't want to upset any commercial fisherman that use this forum, but we need to preserve what little fish we have.

E-petition to ban all commercial fishing within a 1 mile radius of the uk coast, please take the time to sign it and help preserve our sport.

What a pity there aren't more signatures!! I saw a post some time ago where a member was trying to get this put into a sea fishing mag. It would be good to hear some suggestions for how we could get more people to sign up.

Lets hope the high fuel prices will put a few more of the tw4ts out of business then we don't have to petition any more.

Signed.

The high fuel price just means they stay inshore and shoot fixed nets for non-quota stocks like bass.

They do that anyway - they'll just do it even more now.

Absolutely agree.
