Hi all,
I hve not fished Reculver for years but me and my late father used to fish from the towers and had loasd of good fish sadly before the fish dissapeared,
also used to fish the first bay to the right of the towers and always had good eels,

There is a report in the Sea Angler this month on Minnis bay and how to catch Ray's.

Keith

Hello, there's a few reports on the W.S.F website saying there's been a few smooth-hound and rays caught up there on the bigger tides.
Use bluey for the Rays and crab for Smooth-hound.

Fish the low-water on the spring tides on the rocks at grenham bay ( you'll see plenty fishing down there ) and fish the basin over the high water tides. The basin is up by the back of the horse riding school, you have to park at minnis bay pub and it's quite a walk along. There be a few fishing the basin so just keep an eye for lots of head lamps.

Keep an eye out for reports on the weed up there, as it can be a problem.

I'll be fishing down there over the nxt couple of weeks after the smooth-hound.

Good luck!!!!
