went down there yesterday. had one small bass (while feathering for for maccy!) and a couple of maccy, too. think morst of the fish were frightend off by a whacking great seal who turned up about half 7.
oh and thanx to the couple who gave me a couple of fish to ensure i didn't go home empty handed

Hows the pier been fishing this week?

I am going Sunday or Saturday and I am probably going to fish Lug and trying to catch some Garfish or some stuff and am also gonna take some squid i think. Howd you think thatl do? If any of you see me down there im a bit chubby , longish brown hair, about 5 foot one lol. yeah im going with my grandad hopefully catch some fish! we went down to barrage last time and didnt catch a thing! Well maybe see ya down there! Ment to be raining Sunday sigh

To get garfish, fish with mackerel or sandeel on a float.

I wouldn't use a ledger or any rig where the bait is lying on the bottom. There are alot of crabs about.

right ive been down to the tackle shop+ angry

They have a sale on!!! AAHHHHH! everyones been down there and ave take all the worms!!!! angry

so i have bought sandeel and squid and does anyone know what Lobworm (earthworm) is like at the pier?
