| Not much taste mate, I don't bother meself - you will never see them in a decent chippy for that reason. The little'uns up to about half a kilo are acceptable just brushed with oil and grilled as fresh as you can get them there but that's about it. I expect some doughnut will come along shortly and say they are wonderful but they ain't, if they were, Birdseye etc., would do them which they don't. |

Erm.......Birdseye do them, as do Ross, Findus and many others. Probably because they are on the MSCs 'fish to eat' list.
Great in a fish pie. |

| remember seeing a program a tele about it and certain chipshops would sell pollock instead of cod on certain days of the week to help conserve cod and it caught on and now few place's have deals on with pollock and chips , i dont eat fish myself but the people they interviewed about it did say it was lovely but there was a few not willing to try it but what the chipshop done was just not sell any cod on that certain day just so folks would try it |

well i know cod tastes nice when cooked in the oven.
get your fillet place on some tin foil add some butter on it rap it with the tin foil and cook it in the oven taste really nice also can add some spices or what ever to it
the right spices can make even the tasteless fish taste nice
