ive got some peelers to freeze whats the best way
just chuck them in the freezer
or should i remove as much shell first then freeze seperately
would be gratefull of any help

Hi Steve,
I would advise to wrap them seperately in cling film before freezing that way if you take them in a thermos flask next time you fish you can just take one out at a time,keeping the others frozen!
I`m not sure if you have to remove any of their insides before freezing as I always buy frozen.
Maybe someone will answer that question then we`ll both know for future reference.

| Never frozen peelers myself, but have been told to remove the deadmans fingers as this will decay, even after freezing, and then wrap seperately in clingfilm, hope this helps. |

| Remove all the shell, and everything you normally would, the lungs (gills) must be removed. Hope that helps |

I took some out of the freezer along with other stuff last night for this mornings fishing, and now its realy pissin down& i dont fancy getting soaked,just hope it eases off in the next hour  |
