hi all went fishing today to weybourne
fished 0900 to 1400 hrs low water at 1330 hrs
wind s easterly 15 mph
a lovely sunny day no one else on the beach untill 1300 hrs
first cast a schoolie about a pound , on lug ( gonna be a good un today)
then on my other rod a good bite , struck and i can feel a weight there another schoolie ? no even better my first ever DOVER SOLE weight nearly 2 pounds caught on lug on a pennel pulley rig 3/0 hooks fairly and squarely in the mouth .
todays total 2 schoolies returned , 2 pout returned,2 dabs returned ,1 plaice 1lb (missus had for tea tonite ) 1 dab lb and the dover sole 2lb

what an excellent day well chuffed

ps dont know how to get the photos bigger i used image shack any ideas cheers all

i went to weybourne again today not a single fish (strong easterly wind )
had a crackin bite on half a joey but never hooked it
what a disaster tried rag squid and mackeral oh well
gonna try cromer on sunday havent fished off a pier for 30 odd years

any one wanna join me you are more than welcome
