The day time tides are not fishing very well atall and at the moment are smallish tides, on friday and saturday the tides are bigger, and more into the evening as well.
That said if you want to meet up I'll give it a go

Strange you should ask lol, I went out at 4am this morning fishing and took a variety of baits and only had a few rattles..but no fish.
The evening tides have been fishing great as its been dark and they were big tides, however at the moment the evening tides about 6pm and the weather has been scorching and the sea calm as a pond..and not alots been caught. The tides get bigger though towards weekend and the best baits IMO are mackrel and black lug..perhaps a bit of squid for tipping them off.

Having not fished there I dont know keith..is it any good as the daytime fishing recently seems poor.
Just been lookig at blackpool tides and IMO Sat 17th, Sun !8th, & Mon 19th looks the best for fishing here as there bigger tides and later in the evening.
