Well got there at about 9am, and the tide was on its way out, so i waled to the beach and cast out with 2 rods and caught a dab and a flounder. Was there till about 4:30, might not av caught many fish but i caught 1 baaad sunburn sad I dont like having to move back my gear30 foot every 2 miniutes either. And i also got stranded on a sandbank with all my gear and had to wade upto my shins to get all my stuff safe. Was fun anyway.

Nice one mate, fish look prime condition. What time was high water and did you fish near the pier as there is a big sandbank just there. Lucky you spotted it when you did as it comes in quite quick.

I think high tide was about 5:00pm but it went prety quiet after an hour of the low tide turning. That water really does come in quick. I had abit too much gear aswell, so if i ever fish there again ill be doing it very lightly. I fished on the beach with the tower and the pier to the left of me. and yea that was probably the sandbank you mentioned. I noticed a few black lug casts popin up as the tide was comin in but not many. Probably be a good few on a springtide, and razorfish as there was alot of razorfish shells around.
