If you're stuck for bait Yungteddy check out your local rockpools, live prawns, blennies and gobies all make decent bait, floatfished or ledgered away from the bottom for pollack and wrasse. Remember what you find is what the fish will be feeding on you never know what will work best! for instance I met an old boy recently who swore by winkles as flatfish bait and I mean to try them if I can stop myself from cooking and eating the buggers devil Also down here live goby will outfish peeler crab for eels and bass but shhhhh...cos thats a bit of a local secret big grin big grin big grin good luck
