I'm gona try Sherringham this bank holiday (night) for the first time, usually i fish from Weybourn but tried last week and got a bit fed up of catching small whiting, pouting and monster CRABS. so im gona move down the coast to try some where different.
Has any one got any tips for sherringham i have never been, what bait and where to fish (some one's said theres a worm bed there somewhere).
Cheers in advance.

hi mate
ive only just come back to sea fishing after 25yrs but live in sheringham and fish here and weybourne
you have deeper water at the lifeboat shed but the ground was very rocky last time i looked best check at low water
the lifeboat shed is at the weybourne end of the promenade
dont know if you know the town well but i usualy fish near the crown pub if you go to the pub outside face the sea on your right there are some steps go down and i usualy fish off of the prom there or look ahead at the big concrete lump thats the tank you can also fish there ,
on that beach at low water there are some worms you can dig and on either beach next door i usualy put my tripod at bottom of steps near railings beware of people comming past when casting .
when reeling in just walk along a bit and pull the cod up the side
i have had at least a hundred codling there this last month and still getting them the beach drops off a bit at the end of the breakwater then the rocks start
i usualy use the lug i have dug off of that beach there but last week had a 3lb 8 cod on rag also i use squid and have had a few good bites that i have missed. real rod pullers so good luck
let us know when youre fishing and i will come down and say hi
cheers steve |

Cheers Shannock, when i fish at weybourn i usually fish about 200 yard further down by the end of those mud cliffs and as near as i can get to the wreck (which you can see partialy at low tide), last year i done fantastic there, i lost count of the amount of Bass i caught (using lug), but the last few times ive been all i caught was small flatties, whiting and a couple of masive crabs so i thought id try some where else.
Thanks for the tips for Sherringham, me and my mate are going to try the evening tide this bank holiday monday spose we will get there around 3:30-4:00 see you there if not i'll let you know how we got on |

Tried at Sherringham on bank holiday Monday (1800-2300), was really busy there people wise, but rubbish fishing, caught 2 small pouting and my mate caught an eel, not sure why we did so bad, fished the right spot out side the crown, maybe it was the bait, all i could get a hold of was rag at short notice from brightys. |
