| does anyone know of a shop that sells live sandeels, down south. im in port talbot , i dont mind traveling ( a bit), but i believe the bass like them so i wouldn'tmind giving them a try. any tips for them aswell would be great. e.g where do u hook em? |

ps hook them under their "chin" and use a running ledger rig a large swivel on your main line to allow it to "run free" hook lenght should be at least 10 ft long attach weight to main line and cast just beyond the surf

| I found casting just behind the 2nd breaker very good. Dont cast it far as you will be suprised whats around that surf |

| well, i couldn't get the sandeels, yet. both shops said they are expecting them in this week. any way i fished rest bay last night, great view of the lightening, until it started to get a bit close. caught 4 small bass around 1/2 lb and a flounder of a 1 lb ish, used rag and lug all night. i'll have to try again next weekend for the sandeels. thank you all for your help anyway. |
