Recent catch reports Dover boats?

Hi Troops,

I have a boats comp from Dover this week, like to do well so looking for recent info's please.

Most of the ones I have done there have all been on the drift, as opposed to anchoring, and I don't know the names of the marks where the drifts start anyway, so general stuff is just fine if you've got the time. It's a species event, so once you've got your ten you have to move on: it would be nice to know what's prevalent at the moment.

Last time I went, bloke outfished everyone on every species due to him having £50 worth of peeler, don't tell me I'll need the same? Hoping to just use rag, lug, squid and mack/blueys.

If anybody's interested, post-event I report:

Codling to 3lb, in excess frankly;
Whiting to 1.5lb, dogfish, gurnard, dab, brill, mackerel (v occasional at present)

Mod, shunt this to Catch Reports if you wish. MK
