Hi there,
I'm new to sea fishing, I have fished Bradwell and Holliwell point but caught nothing. I have tried Rag, Mackerel strips, Squid, and Sandeels what am I doing wrong, can anyone tell me of a top spot to get some experience on.

It might not be the venue that you fishing as a few of us were fishing monday at fleetwood lancashire although we had 9 rods out only 3 undersized flounder were caught. You dont say what size hooks you were using. Things have been very slow all around the UK but they should improve shortly.

| local knowlage is everything mate. we have been cracking out the flounder and codling at coalhouse fort tilbury last couple of weeks. also had a bass nudging a pound last rip out. but that was off the back of blanks at fambridge and warden bay, sheppy. very hit and miss at hte moment. |

| Thanks for a great welcome! I'm looking forward to some tight lines in the future. rabbi2 mentioned hook size, whats best for what i'm using 1/0 at the moment. |

| Your about right on hook size but you can drop down to 1s use long shanked abberdeens so as to remove the hooks easily also they are pretty sharp. Hope this helps keith. |
