keep an eye out for snakeheads these nasty fish can kill when fully grown one was found in britain in a river in lincs but it can go near the sea it's been know to eat flesh from humans this fish was caught was in feb 2008 it's a very nasty fish it is native to china the chap that caught this one over here was using a sprat for pike when he got this fearsome fish!!if you want to see the fish look on nat geo wild tonight at 9pm on sky,they will live in any water it does'nt matter if it's warm it will live cold water it's illegal to import this fish but they do get in

just had a look mate they got a pike shaped head and a ling shaped body nice.

but then you can eat them i would'nt like to try them lol,did you see it on sky or did you look on the net they say it's deadlier than the great white

they only grow to 2 meters in length i thought the weaver was ugly this one is more ugly

they can even go on land like the eel but this can stay out of water longer than the eel! and yes it does look like a pike head and a body of a ling but it looks prehistoric

the wolf fish is nice i like them but i bet the snakehead would kill it snakeheads have been know to take more than their mouth full with wolf fish you can go near them they dont mind you going near but snakeheads will attack you

Fishzilla - It was on Sky National Geographic Channel last night - Imported for food and pets from Asia and then released into the wild by frightened owners. According to the program the Yanks were hysterical about it and rightly so. They are a ferocious predator which will become king of any river system and will wipe out all other fish. The program was saying that the predator is kept-in-check in Asia by other predators so not such a big problem. They reckon AquaEda have a part to play in it.

yes i agree what your saying but one was caught here in this country in a lincs river i cant remember which one!!
i used to keep fish in tanks got quite good but i would not keep one of them i love catfish there is one you dont touch which i had but it was a softie a lad at the fish shop said you dont touch these but he did not have a net big enough for it so i got it instead with my hands because i had a tank full of them i know what i was doing it was called a leopard plec it just has needles on it thats all but it knows how to use them
