| I'm thinking of going fishing for Garfish off Samphire Hoe Early next week. I've had good results from there in the past but I'm wondering if it's not too early in the year yet. Any thoughts? |

Well I'm keeping my eye on the weather. I have a four day window in which to fish. Sat-Tuesday. I'm keeping a close eye on the weather as I would ideally like flat seas but with a 15mph easterly blowing down the channel from now until the end of the period I'm doubtfull of that, and doubtful about my chances of success.
I'm hoping to gather some peelers this weekend which should hopefully give me the edge! I plan to float fish little fillets of sandeel for the Gars, a bait and method I have had great success with. I will use light tackle for the best 'sport'.
I also plan to dangle a whole crab over the wall and see what happens. I'll let you know how I get on.. |
