well u said rag is better for muddy grounds....n is mussels any good for flounders???

Mussels can be a killer bait on occasions, but the general consencious is that lug, rag, maddies, mussels and mackrel strips all have their place when targeting flatties. Hope this helps.

went down river tawe decent dabs n flounders all caught on mud rag on a 2 hook paternoster

Providing they are not cooked or soaked in vinigar the answer is no.
