Found some sandeel in the freezer and some dried ragworm bought in Devon while on holiday so decided to take the 4 year old ( Scottytang) on his second trip .Went to the Golf Course end of the Strand and fished off a small shingle bank . The long and short of it was we blanked ( unless you count the seagull caught in the line which i have to say was safely released ) . We fished here last year with fresh worm baits and caught loads of schoolies and a good eel which really made his day .
Ps Has anyone else used these dried ragworm sold in Devon shops . I found them absolutely terrible and stayed hard even after 20mins in the water ? Glad i only bought 1 pack !!!!!
