Went out Wednesday after the breakwater at Dover called off again. Decided to fish from Sandown over the High Tide. Nothing feeding in the morning, after two bursts of rain and sleet decided to ditch last of my worms and squid and pack up. This done reeled in the rods and
Typical, just as the buggers show i,m heading for home. Still, a personal best for me, can only get better. Seems sandown fishes best High tide down. |

How far were you casting, was the sea rough, and did you catch it in daylight or at night ?

AJ i think he casted until the weight went down, the sea was wet, and it was between dawn and dawn |

Thanks folks. Aj, the sea was calm the bugger was landed at just before two o'clock. Hope he was a loner or it means i missed out on some great fishing. Chap just along from me had tried a variety of baits with bugger all to show for it and followed me off the beach so believe mine was a loner. Hope this helps. As for the knife, did i say knife, silly me, it's one of those replica samurai swords obviously |
