Hey everyone just wanted to let you all know that the fixtures for the new club season our now up online, and those of you who have thought about fishing in a club and learning from others and generaly having a good laugh in a friendly atmosphere are more than welcome to turn up . We have changed the yearly pricing for new members from £15 to £7.50 and £2.50 for Juniors, EVERYONE is welcome beginners and juniors alike, we also cater to help disabled anglers onto each venue. Matches are every sunday with several opens thru out the year and lots of trophies up for grabs. You can be as competitive as you like or just fish for the fun of it , This is simply about enjoying your fishing without any stress.

The first match is at Kelling and you will have to drive through the Muckleborough Collection, we meet at 9am and start fishing at 10am if you have any questions please contact me on 01362 668574 and /or visit the new club website http://www.holtseaanglingclub.com

Hi Dene,

What the fishing like at Kelling? I might come along but it is a 3 hr drive so want to know if its worth getting up a 6am on Sunday for!

Also if i do come is it possible for someone to get some lug for me if i do come. We don't have the luxury of a lug supplier in the midlands!

Thanks

Ollie

fishing at Kelling is ok mate, your more than welcome to come along and join the club, Our chairman Tony can also supply fresh lugworm if you order in advance of the matches its all on the website etc.

Kelling is more or less the same as Weybourne with a steepish shingle bank, fishes various states of the tide and it has its hotspots and its crap spots lol, Flounder, dab, whiting ,codling , and bass are all on target along with the usual rockling lol Each week we fish a different venue and most of us dig our own bait so you wont have a problem getting a good supply, you will just have to do the old driving mate hehe

gimmie a ring if you wanna kow anymore bud if not hope to see you Sunday
