| Iv'e heard about worm farms ect, but can anyone tell me just how viable it would be to keep and breed crabs. They certainly fetch a lot more money at these bait shops. I have the room for such a project and could get the filters and pumps with no problem. Or is this just wishful thinking? |

you might be able to farm peelers but not necciserily breed them, i believe their breeding pattersn are barely understood for one.
However, anythings possible but an investment would be massive. I imagine atleast £10,000 just for equipment alone, then the peller 'bed's' to be made, as well as the stocking and staff, because i doubt your allowed to just go find some crabs on the beach and take them for farming. |

| Not sure if it would be viable or not really. The best thing to do is put in some research time to find out what would be the best type of habitat they would breed in and what temperature. Then theres cost of feeding them and how quickly they grow to a reasonable size. |
