Hi, I started doing the same thing last year, In winter my hands got so cold i couldnt tie knots or anything, so i did the same as you, i also baited half a dozen hooks at home, then wrapped the bait in a bit of clingfilm or tinfoil to keep it fresh. i found tinfoil best, you just lay a strip out, lay your bait and line out and wrap it over a few times, (lengh ways) then its just a matter of rolling it out again when you want to bait up. saves loads of time, and very cold pinkys |

Yep its a gemini clip. You can buy them in various thicknesses> the thin ones for hook snoods and the thick ones at the end of the shock leader. keith |

Keith, as you know I'm still learning the art of sea fishing mate so the only knot I know at the moment is the half blood knot. Will you teach me how to tie this setup next time I see you please? In return I will act as your zimmer frame sometime in the very near future when you're out fishing with me. LOL |
