Hi, I started doing the same thing last year, In winter my hands got so cold i couldnt tie knots or anything, so i did the same as you, i also baited half a dozen hooks at home, then wrapped the bait in a bit of clingfilm or tinfoil to keep it fresh. i found tinfoil best, you just lay a strip out, lay your bait and line out and wrap it over a few times, (lengh ways) then its just a matter of rolling it out again when you want to bait up. saves loads of time, and very cold pinkys big grin

Yep its a gemini clip. You can buy them in various thicknesses> the thin ones for hook snoods and the thick ones at the end of the shock leader. keith

Keith, as you know I'm still learning the art of sea fishing mate so the only knot I know at the moment is the half blood knot. Will you teach me how to tie this setup next time I see you please? In return I will act as your zimmer frame sometime in the very near future when you're out fishing with me. LOL big grin big grin big grin
