cod portishead 14/03/08

fished portishead sailing slip way this morning tide was 11.1 meters
and high tide was at 11.31am got there at 8.30 fished it up to high and back half hour caught 4 codling biggest 3.08oz and 2.7oz so good sport i returned the other 2 as they were much smaller and not in legal size
i caught the two bigger ones on rag/squid the two small ones on lug

Excellent perhaps we may get a good run of spring codling - because lets be honest the winter was poor.
