I generally use 30lb line on my reel as don't use shock leader. My new multiplier came pre-loaded with 20lb line do you think that i will need to use shock with this |

If you use anymore than a 3oz weight then most certainly. 10lb of shockleader for every oz of weight so 5oz weight requires a 50lb shock leader. Hope this helps. keith  |

Yep yo need it to be at least the lenght of the rod plus about 6 to 8 turns on the reel. Hope this helps mate. keith |
