I went to aberavon beach tonight with two mates and between us we caught 30+ whiting, 10+ rockling, a few codling, pouting, flounders and a schoolie all undersize but nevermind we did not blank
bait used was rag/lug, squid, mackeral, and sandeel ( which with lug) was the best cocktail
going to either newton or swansea on tuesday |

Hey lots of action then mate, what size were the whiting, we were at Newton on Friday, and had small whiting but it was a bit gusty to say the least.... |

i've only sea fished in south wales once at the moment, that was around newport, hoping to go this summer for the bass around swansea bay. i go trout fishing quite alot around monmouth though as i used to live near there. i'd reccomend anyone to go for holidays and fishing trips round south wales as it's a great place to visit. |
