Ill second that leeman, today i fished the medway in kent and ended up useing a 6oz gripper and because of the strong tide that was running the gripper just wouldnt hold bottom and was bouncing all over the place.

Cheers

Give it a day or so to settle down buck and should give you some good fishing as the bottom will be well mixed up. Should bring the fish on abit.

Cheers

yes the last few tides have been quite high..those pics were took an hour or so before high tide. think todays tide was 9.2..but they have been high all week.

Hope it calms down soon, can anyone understand the weather reports, and give a clue as to when it should calm down? It seems to be getting gradually worse each day.

have a look on here buck http://www.xcweather.co.uk/ Its normally pretty accurate and should be able to give you some idea of when things will calm down
