Uni is OK for hooks, although the palomar is better but when it comes to leaders the allbright has been proved to be superior and less bulky. In fact the animated knots site claims that uni's can lose up to 50% B.S. if not tied well. It surprises me that so few folk seem to know about the allbright as it is particularly recommended for joining different diameter lines. |
