best place to fish - i was wandering where the best place to fish around the south west coast as iv had not much luck, any tips will be very appreciated.

HI Thinking of a trip to gassworks or kilve on sunday morning to fish low water.Used to fish qite a bit around this area and catch a few codling on lug and sqid a few years back .Hows the fishing at the moment? A friend went last week and said that it was quite and his bait was coming back in without any crab damage so maybe the cod are not in yet.Any recent reports would be welcome as it a fifty mile trip from were i live.
