Fished W.Bex on 10/12 and caught loads of doggies a small whiting and 2 plump cod.
Last night (11/12) fished Portland end with better results.Almost none stop bites.first dogs, then cod, then the whiting came on the feed but I only kept the largest ones. All fish were caught on a variety of bait ,squid, lug, rag, mackerel and hermits.

get some good worm and squid, pennal rigs 3 o hooks about right maybe 4-5 if your after big fish (rare), cast overhead thump about 50-80 yards thats all you need, and fish up to 2 hours after high water the fish feed best when the tide is pushing in or out....youll get a flat spot dead on high tide but be patient it pays off....fish even closer on medium to large tides......... you get some dog fish but battle through them they just switch off at times |

Some of those fish in your photos look a bit on the small size, were they within the legal limits or is it just that they do look small ? |

They all look dead in the photos, which is a shame if they are all undersize, thought you would have put them back. |

I think you`ll find its called sarcasm in response to critisism in the certaian knowledge that you will then respond in the way you have with yet more critisism.
How predictable. |

Certainly not a critism just an observation as they do look rather small but then it could be own to how far away the photos have been taken. |

I'm afraid it just looks like PUBANGLER has joined the site just to stir up sh*t.

MRix, DuncBooth5 and whoever else is responsible - please put a stop to this. Sea fishing yes - verbal fisticuffs no. Not necessary or asked for. |
