Blimey, how long is a session for you.
Me i can take 1/2 pound of worms and half a box of squid and use most of it over one evening.
Don't even want to think how you manage to carry it all.

I think you can only get them from deep water, and they work out cheaper than lug.

I'm still trying to get some more lug lol, BIG BAITS BIG FISH.
Every 15 mins on average, I use 10 worms and 3 squid, so it doesn't take long to use up my bait
Thats probably why the last 2 trips to Orford, no one catches much apart from pout and whiting , as they use size 1 and 2 hooks with one worm on each hook.

Party squid are the tiny ones, ideal for tipping off with.
you get about 60 in a box for £2.
BTW I used 2/0 and 3/0 hooks (and still caught dabs)
I have to agree about fishing through the small stuff though.

That sure is a HUGE amount of bait. I normally fish by myself, and in a 6 hour session i will go through two thirds a box of squid and about three quarter pounds of worm. That is with one rod and i bait change regularly.

Top respect for your bait effort. I have a small freezer in the garage and slow but surely i am convincing the wife to let me store a bit of bait.

cheers
