hey all
just wondering if there are any friendly (or unfriendly) welsh anglers out there possible from the newport area that could help me out actually on the coast? ive never fished at the sea before and am planning on going out on friday for the first time. only spot ive actually found was this pub with a huge car park and then a turnstile with steps leading up a little hill and then u can see the water. im slightly nervous abuot going out for the first time alone due to the insane tides etc... would be great if anybody can accept a beginner for a wee while to show me some basics and more importantly so i dont put myself into any unnesscesary danger as im sea fishing for the first time.
to be clear to any OVER friendly anglers. this is not a lonely hearts advert hahaha

SOUNDS LIKE ST.BRIDES AREA YOUWANT TO GO? DO NOT PARK IN THE CAR PARK OF THE PUB. BECAUSE APPARENTLY HES GONE VERY NASTY. HE CLAMPS YOUR CARS. I DONT FISH THERE MYSELF. I DID BEFORE. YOUD BE BETTER OFF TRYING THE FORESHORE, ITS SAFE THERE, IF YOU WANT DIRECTIONS, LET ME KNOW. I WORK 7 DAYS A WEEK AT THE MO? OR I WOULD HELP YOU OUT M8?THE FORESHORE IS IN CARDIFF. ROVER WAY. OFF NEWPORT ROAD, BUT AS I SAY IF YOU WANT DIRECTIONS PM ME. ALL THE BEST POACH?
