Hate to dissappoint, but the Red Ice wifey brought back is the same as the one I already have.
I think it was the woman in the Tackle Shop being disinformed rather than anything else.
But I like Red Ice. It's about a fiver for 950m - which works out at about a quid and a half for each spool filling (if you do it from empty).
I might even write a review on it later today....... that and the Longbeam....
 |

I can't even find their address or phone number.
But I did manager to get a spinning rod from Mikes Tackle Shop last week which was an upgrade from the Ron Thompson bass rod that I ordered. It's a re-badged Penn I think - not bad, but I dont have any lures.
I might try spinning with some bacon rind, and if that doesn't work, maybe some sausage and egg.
