Be careful of Exmouth; used to be a couple of landladies there who did a breakfast that would not feed a rat.

No mate, I used to live there and go out wrecking occasionally. Some of the blokes used to come from up country and stay over cos Mike (skipper) always did an early start. At that time, there were two landladies in Exmouth who would give you one sausage, one rasher, a small egg and a teaspoon of baked beans for yer breakfast - ruddy insult to a man going out fishing all day. Fortunately Mike Baker had a different attitude and always served up a pan full of sausages for lunch on the boat. He is still there and I would recommend him without hesitation - what he did not know about the wrecks around south Devon was not worth talking about, always caught fish and his language was "colourful" and absolutely hilarious. Definitely not a boat for the ladies LOL.
