Boats for sale - Shetland boats

hi all. anybody out there no of any shetland boats for sale and price, i live on the isle of wight, so preferabley not to high up. cheers

try free adds or e-bay,and expect to pay about £1.000 to £3.000+ depending on what age and engine . i have a shetland 535 (17ft) with 50hp mercuryand can do 28kns,it needed cosmetics and a good service but thats all. its about 15 years old and payed £1.500, :arrow: but its not 4 sale b4 u ask
when buying look 4 a soild engine :-yamaha/honder/mercury/mariner i would recommend (as a marine grease monkey) stay away from 10+yr old unless absolut bargain ,cos thay wil start 2 need some TLC

cheers chopper, i never thought of free ads, i will have a look right now, i have looked on e bay and did find some nice shetties, for arond £1500. but all of them were to high up country for me. as they want about £138 on ferry

Hi there,

There's a nice littel boat down here in Porthleven, Cornwall for sale. It's not a Shetland though, it's an 18ft Fastworker Easily towable to the IOW. In needs a bit of TLC, but it's a sound boat - I know because it used to be mine!! It has a 15 hp Honda 4 stroke on the back, full remotes and steering from the forward wheelhouse. The current ownwer has just gone commercial with a much bigger boat and is keen to sell this one quickly. ........If you're interested e-mail me and I'll talk to the owner and send you some pics.
