Just wondering whether or not the £50 is worth it for the 24 hour Walton Pier pass.
Is it any better than anywhere else and if so what are the downsides?

And to carry on the Bol*o*ks you've all been talking:
Bonus fortuna procul Orford quod Spero ut profundum est plenus of piscis piscis

For what its worth I'm getting one this year but i reckon its only worth it if you intend fishing at night or will be doing morethan 10 daylight sessions- which in your case will prob be a no-no once the youngster comes along- although at the end of the day £55 squid or whatever it is aint too bad for unlimited fishing for the year

It's very tempting as I'll be doing mainly night fishing and as places like St Osyths, which is a good spot, become crowded with boats for the summer it sounds like a sure fire place for an undisturbed nights fishing. I could use my cash for that instead of buying a rod rest for now.

To translate the, ahem, Latin: Good luck at Orford chaips.

yes m8 the day trippers get on ya tits at times, as you see i live in st osyth.most of the beaches are fairly clear at nights.but the pier you dont have to worry about tides.
i have never fished off the pier only the beaches, and if thats to go by then the £50 squids or what ever it is,is going to be werth it dude.

I have a love/hate relationship with Walton Pier, but overall it is a good venue and the season ticket is value for money. I will be getting another one in May.

Just in time for the garfish. big grin I fancy getting one on a roach pole this year happy

You love fishing there and everybody on the pier hates the fact that you don't stop talking when you get there?
