Got to be carefull with any kind of molten metal, nasty old stuff if it get anywhere near water and not just lead either.
Ive taken to making my own weights recently out of offcuts of steel roundbar at work. Work just as well as lead, only a touch longer in length. Havent had the patience to make any into breakout weights, although i have a nice collection of 4, 5, 6 and 7 oz plain, and fixed wired weights now. Didnt cost me a panny, and they work a treat |
