Me and ScreamingReels well be of to walton pier sunday. Tide time is=13:27 .Il be there about 12:00.so if more would like to come see you there big grin

I'm going fishing to walton pier on sunday too mate, because my birthday is going to be on tuesday and is going to be my firts time fishing there too.

ok mates,,for the moment I just have one fishing rod but I told my girlfriend that I want a new fishing rod as my birhday present so maybe I going to have another one big grin

I went to walton pier a few days ago ,just to check how was it and it is really long...

I saw some guys fishing at the end of the pier but I dont know very well this pier.,

I going to be there about 10:30 am more or less .

I'll be using only one rod anyway as I'm practising with the multiplier.

Essexman, I'll let you know tomorrow about the bait - I definately need 1-2 packs, but if matey comes along too, I may need another.

I'll also remember the fat cigars this time as I'm picking them up from the airport tonight.

WTG=way to go.ok paul mate.bait shop in clacton is=Brian deans 43 pallister road phone=01255 425992.walton one is meta-lite- tackle 15 newgate street walto phone=01255 675680=claton one is good i dont know about walton bait shop never been there. 8)
cigars sounds good (i can smell them) 8)

I've had bait from Meta-lite (Metcalfes) before- the bait is fine but you definitely need to order it.

Yeup Stueart. I agree with you there - it's thje best one in Walton, but Essexman gets it from Deans as he lioves in Clacton.

The shop shuts at about 11:00am on Sunday mornings I think, so it may be wise to get there early. It is near the pier - just opposite and to the right. There is a cafe and you walk down that road. There is a sighn that says Meta-Lite on the side of the shop.

You're right Paul- the shop closes whenever they get fed up on a Sunday- I had pre-ordered bait and turned up a t 11.30am even though it was suposed to be open till 12 and he was at the door locking up- s best get there relatively early
