Fished fleetwood last night about 1 in and 1.5 out just behind leisure centre / swimming baths, small dab for me and a bass for loopy lad, both on black, tried sand eel not even a nibble on that. Chap in breakwater to the right landed 3 bass in approx 30 minutes about 30 minutes before h/t then got a sand eel just before packing up.

Hopefully be a bit better for me this coming weekend seems to be some high tides coming in think I might try sea wall by angling club at bispham

Hi keith, I will be doing Holyhead breakwater this coming weekend for those high tides, clean water and a place I have never blanked.
Cheers

Problem with Holyhead for the weekend will be the weather (wind and rain) so decided to fish Whitehaven tomorrow just for the day.

Panic over, forgive the pun not intended, but the wife is now home it turned out to be a panic attack for which she has now got medication. Going to Arnside for the night tide whilst the weather holds.

Went to Arnside, got there in plenty of time and it was quite warm and pleasent. Decided to fish the pier instead of the point only trouble was that you have a sort period in which to fish due to the boar and the speed of the receeding tide. Quite a few bites but only one fish caught and it was paul who got that, so another blank for myself and Luke but we enjoyed the evening. I will certainly make it there again for a night fish.

Fished just up from sea cadet base today, plenty of folk out fishing not sure how they got on but bloke on same breakwater as me landed 2 half pound cod caught on (black) which looked nice and I got 2 lb bass caught on (peeler crab) which went back in.
Think I may have to venture back out Sunday night
