Great day apart from the lack of fish but nice to put faces to names and have a good chat. That sausage and egg sarnie was magic Mick. Well done to winners but really well done to everyone who attended especially the cooks! |

I think it only fair that the ladies get a mention, They worked their little cotten socks of keeping everyone fed and watered. They didnt stop from the start of the comp until the end, and it was due to their efforts and Manic;s that the comp was such a hit as Mick spent all his time sweating over about 4 cookers, Well done to all concerned. Them there sausages were GRRRREAT!!!
Cheers

i think rabbi hit it right on the head the ladies did a brilliant job and mick gave up his fishing to make sure every one had a sarny and a hot drink but the day went so well because off every one who attended the match and donated prizes and fished so i would like to say a big thank you to every one for making it a great day |

This broadband is so slow, i need a faster connection to download stuff. And another thing, stop putting vegetables in my bedding, its perverse.
I'm having trouble with this dongle, its too slow to upload all the pics, so will do it when i can.
But for now thanks are due to Royboy, for all the effort he put into the match, including bait digging, and getting prizes. Also to Janet for helping out with the cafe, we would have struggled without it, Thanks. Also to rabbi2, for coming all the way from blackburn, and supplying and helping out my family of newbies. They really enjoyed it, and can expect to see them again, and also on the forum. And thanks to everyone who attended, and donated, making it probably the best match in 3 years. One thing i do know, because of all the effort put in so far, the target of £1,000 will be reached without a doubt, with a few hundred over. Heres to the South/east match, cant wait. Thanks everyone for a brilliant effort, and helping me make this the biggest charity match weve held. |
