I could probably bring a few lads from Clare down for the weekend. Whoever is doing the organizing should get a sticky going and we can sort the details out and make a weekend of it if it suits everyone else.

I am prepared to run the show as is the wife.....she will Steward the match and will be on her mobile as and when and if fish are caught big grin
She will then measure and weigh the fish and keep a recording so then the fish that are under can be returned.

We will arrive earlier than everyone else and peg the match, out draw to take place 1 hour before kick off.

I have not got a clue how much to charge so a Treasurer would be great if we can get a volunteer!!

Fish that you might catch are

Flatties
Bass
Sea trout
Salmon suprise suprise
Mullet.

Pm me with ideas please!!!

hi, all the other matches are charging a £5 entry fee, the rules are basically the same for all the matches, the only difference is what happens on the day, ie, Barbies, drinks etc. Its a case of doing as much as the weather allows. Like i said before, its more about meeting peeps, with a little common cause thrown in to make it interesting. Theres still 3 months to go, till end of may, which gives loads of time to try get prize donations etc, and to sort out accomodation for those who can attend but only on an overnight basis. If you want to start a post giving brief details, put it on the sticky on the forum, we can add our 4pennorth as it goes along. Cheers..Mick
PS, say thanks to your wife, i can smell the bacon n eggs already big grin big grin
