Cor, i bet a few of us wish we could, Ive never been to ireland, let alone fishing. But its a bit far for the day, Good luck with the fishing, and if you fancy trying to get a few lads together and having a little comp for cancer support, feel free to organise one. Cheers..Mick |

Give it a go, you might be surprised how many fancy it. Its accomadation thats a problem if you dont know the area. Im happy in a tent or caravan, but its a pain finding somewhere. And if you make it after the 1st week in April i might get rabbi2 interested. The comp wouldnt need to make loads of money, as long as we had a good get together. |

Im up for it so long as it dont clash with the comp for the Northwest. I lived in Irland for 6 years and had a fantastic time the folk are the salt of the earth.
I have only fished at Bray head and did rather well there. It would be a good idea if a few of us could go over as it would help cement the friendship between all anglers as some of the things that are readily available to us cost the earth over there.
Cheers

She will also do the pub run and you can taste the famous guinness from Finucanes old fisherman's put in Ballylongford.

Well i'm up for it, I have camping gear, which might be better, As i have a cancer cough, and it always wakes me up in the early hours. It wouldnt be fair on anyone else if im coughing and throwing up, and waking everyone. I think the last comp is rabbi2s on the 7th May, Mine is 27th March, and DCMs on 17th April, Flattiefanatics is around the 5th of March. So perhaps a weekend between the 2nd week, and the end of may. Theres plenty of time to come up with a plan to suit everyone. |
