Hi All,
Just back from the marshes with the Mrs.
Post Code :- RM13 9DA (Landfill Site)
A13 towards Rainham, past Dartford turn off, Past Rainham turn off take the
next exit Sign Posted "Ferry Road", at roundabout take "Ferry Road South",
then left into "Cold Harbour Lane", go all the way down this road, you
come to a security building with barriers, go straight ahead, just before a
right hand bend there is a small car park on the left with 2 granite blocks
to stop large vans + large 4x4's entering, PARK IN THERE, it will take
about 10/12 cars, walk through the gate towards the THAMES about
100yrds, you can fish to the left or the right there is loads of space 50 +
anglers could fish along here.
A few pics of this venue:-
From inside car park
From the shore line
I also checked out the "Iron Man" end of the marshes, a lot more walking
and a lot more snaggy, so when you go DO NOT turn right at the sign that
say's Riverside Car Park, as this will take you the wrong way also the
gate to this car park is only unlocked in daylight so will be locked for this
meet and its about 800yrds or so walk from this gate to the Thames.
Look forward to seeing you all there.
Keep Em Tight All.

Nice series of photos and a first class description of the venue........well done !!!, one bit of advice don't be 'LARY' if the security stop you it dont pay to rub them up the wrong way just make conversation with them and they are usually okay and quite helpful, chances are at that they won't be very active at that time of the morning anyway .
cheers JOLI |
