Blimey all that gear and don't know how to use it Give it a couple of months and I'll come over the Lancs coast and have a chuck with you. No good now as I don't think there's owt about....Been out a few times when I was down Hampshire, not a thing!!! I was on the Mullet Fly Fishing forum though and a lad in Irland had a Thick Lipped Mullet the other day, Gallway I think it was.

I've been trying to pass the time by hibernating but I keep waking up every 12 hours. I've tied enough flies to fill a Fulling Mill catalogue. Now I'm going to write some poetry, Ode To A Mullet. |

Thanks for you help Dave, much appreciated. Now I may be able to join the elite as I have only caught Salmon whilst spinning.

You're welcome Keith, also try this, its the A.A.P.G.A.I website of which most if not all the top casting instructors are members. Theres a guy on there in Clitheroe, which I think is quite near you.

I have been in touch with both Instructors and one chap is £30 per hour and the other is 100 for 4 hours. Is that a steep or fair price?

Hi Keith, I've never had lessons, which I now regret, but from what I've heard from other lads it's about the going rate. I know Lee is very good from what I've heard, I don't know about any others apart from Carl Hutchinson, who's in North Yorks but I think he may be to far away from you, he's supposed to be very good too. To be honest if you go with someone who is a member of A.A.P.G.A.I you can't go wrong as they have to reach a very high standard to be accepted.

Thanks Dave for replying so quickly but I have just had a big outlay for a new car so it will be about 3 weeks before I can take up instruction.
Cheers
