big welcome to the forum farnoid
lots of fish before christmas, then they went out to spawn (possibly smiths knoll) and believe it or not the inshore waters have been too cold, but they should return in a couple of weeks or so

Welcome to the site m8, and as for boat fishing this month, I simply quote from Sea Angler "...little boat action this month". If fishing magazines are saying this, then all hope is lost . As Andy1i said though, reports are starting to look up, so hopefully this 'dead' time is short lived. |

Hello Farnoid, welcome to the site. Won't be long now before the fishing really gets going again. |
