Couldn't get there for the high tide so I took my chances and fished the pier between 0800 - 1200.
I was on the stem on the right just before the lifeboat. I fished two rods, combination lug/squid on pulley pennells.
Absolutely nothing, also tried a three hook flapper for flatties but no joy today.
I did intend to stay longer but to be honest, weather conditions were pretty poor, constant rain and a bitter wind. Not having much luck so called it a day early doors.
There didn't appear to be anybody else fishing whilst I was there.
Never mind, it was still good to get out there. Hopefully you guys will have a bit more luck!
Good luck on Wednesday Goochy. |
