in a bid to try out my new float suit (thanks jarv) and bike trailer,i thought a little foray to the pier was in order. i wasnt disappointed by the blank (i somehow knew i would),arrived at about 22:00 only to get a visit from pc plod (his car looked nice and warm)the only time ive wanted to be inside a police car lol,had a nice chat with the fella (fellow sea angler it turns out),anyway back to the fishing, had one rod in the harbour mouth with a 3/0 pulley with sprat, other rod seaward side 3 hook flapper 1/0 with squid about 20yrds out, staying as close as i dare to the pier.

packed up at about 1am when i couldnt feel my toes anymore crying
